My name is Megan Murrah and I'm from San Antonio, TX. I am a senior year student in the Visualization program at Texas A&M with a minor in Virtual Production.
Ever since I was young, I knew I wanted to be an artist. From writing short stories to creating my own films using my toys, storytelling has always been a part of my life. I was inspired by animated movies and Youtubers in my childhood, sparking my interest in 2D/3D animation and leading me to the Visualization Program at Texas A&M.
Despite my original goal, I have found that I have a passion for the post-production process as well as production design. This path was solidified for me during my experience in Texas A&M's Summer Industry Course where I worked on a virtual production wall for the first time. As I finish out my degree, I am creating both 3D and fine art works to broaden my skill set as well as showcase my abilities in multiple fields.
When I am not working in studio, I am singing in the Texas A&M Reveliers choral group, spending time outdoors, or crafting.
