This project follows a janitor named Ernest as he makes his nightly rounds in an office building, only to discover something out of the ordinary. As he follows mysterious instructions from a computer, he discovers what this company has been doing behind the scenes, and makes a decision that will change his life.
The goal of this project was to explore themes of humanity vs technology and retro-futurism, as well as to create a full short film within the span of 3 months.
My contribution was initial concept/writing, assisting the director on set, as well as editing/compositing the film.
This project was made in collaboration with Texas A&M Virtual Production Institute as well as mentors from Pixomondo and Eyeline Studios.

This project was an exploration into the lingering effects of trauma, specifically as it pertains to women and college party/club culture. I wanted to focus on how memory can be distorted by both external and internal factors, as "Party Girl" can only recall muffled fragments of the night she experienced despite the strong emotions attached to it. The "suffering in silence" is common amongst sexual assault survivors, and my hope is that those people can feel less alone and feel seen through this work.
Special thanks to the Texas A&M Tech Bar and The HIVE's Studio B for the resources that made this project possible. Also, to my wonderful cast and crew!
